Often times when people are in love, they can start to reflect each other. This was the first piece I made about romance with two subjects. I had only done one digital piece with a couple previous to this, but after some encouragement from a professor I wanted to explore painting multiple subjects. Romance and the subject of couples is the subject of much of media, whether it be love songs, rom-coms, or dramas. It is also the subject of many conversations, so it only felt natural to make work about it.
